fresh, sliced - can replace with canned mushrooms
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, combine the egg, bread crumbs, and onion.
1 Egg,
1/3 cup Dry Bread Crumbs,
1/4 cup Onion
Crumble the beef over mixture and mix well.
1 pound Ground Beef
Shape into four (4) patties.
In a large nonstick skillet, brown the patties on both sides.
While browning the Salisbury patties, in a small bowl, combine the milk, salt and soup.
1/2 cup Milk,
1/4 teaspoon Salt,
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
Stir in mushrooms.
1-1/2 cups Mushrooms
Place browned Salisbury patties in an 8x8 baking baking dish.
Pour soup mixture over browned Salisbury patties.
Bake in oven for 30 to 45 minutes. Occasionally basting patties with soup mixture.
Bake until a thermometer reads 165° and meat is no longer pink.
