An easy version of the normal creamy and savory beef stroganoff. Another one pot meal that is definitely a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients
1
medium onion
julienned
1
tablespoon
butter
1
lb
ground beef
8
ounces
mushrooms
quartered
1/2
tsp
salt
1/2
tsp
black pepper
1
tsp
garlic
minced
1
can
cream of mushroom condensed soup

package
beef (brown) gravy mix
0.87 ounces

cups
water
4
beef bouillon cubes
12
ounces
wide egg noodles
uncooked
1/2
cup
sour cream
water
as needed

tsp
parsley flakes
Instructions
In Dutch oven or large pot, cook
1 medium onion
with
1 tablespoon butter
until starting to be translucent
Add
1 lb ground beef
and cook until almost completely brown.
Add
8 ounces mushrooms
and cook another minute.
Remove any extra fat from frying pan.
Season with
1/2 tsp salt
,
1/2 tsp black pepper
, and
1 tsp garlic
.
Add the
1 can cream of mushroom condensed soup
and stir.
Add
1 package beef (brown) gravy mix
and stir.
Add the
5 cups water
and
4 beef bouillon cubes
cubes.
Add the uncooked
12 ounces wide egg noodles
and cover fry pan.
Bring to boil.
Turn down to a simmer and cook until the egg noodles are tender (about 10 to 20 minutes).
Stirring occasionally.
Remove the lid and add
1/2 cup sour cream
.
Add additional
water
until you reach desired consistency. May not need any additional water.
Stir and add
1 tsp parsley flakes
on top parsley.
Serve and ENJOY!
