Easy Stroganoff w/Ground Beef
An easy version of the normal creamy and savory beef stroganoff. Another one pot meal that is definitely a crowd pleaser.
Equipment
- 1 Dutch Oven or Large Pot with lid
Ingredients
- 1 medium onion julienned
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 ounces mushrooms quartered
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic minced
- 1 can cream of mushroom condensed soup 10.5 oz
- 1 package beef (brown) gravy mix 0.87 ounces
- 5 cups water
- 4 beef bouillon cubes
- 12 ounces wide egg noodles uncooked
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- water as needed
- 1 tsp parsley flakes
Instructions
- In Dutch oven or large pot, cook 1 medium onion with 1 tablespoon butter until starting to be translucent
- Add 1 lb ground beef and cook until almost completely brown.
- Add 8 ounces mushrooms and cook another minute.
- Remove any extra fat from frying pan.
- Season with 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 1 tsp garlic.
- Add the 1 can cream of mushroom condensed soup and stir.
- Add 1 package beef (brown) gravy mix and stir.
- Add the 5 cups water and 4 beef bouillon cubes cubes.
- Add the uncooked 12 ounces wide egg noodles and cover fry pan.
- Bring to boil.
- Turn down to a simmer and cook until the egg noodles are tender (about 10 to 20 minutes).
- Stirring occasionally.
- Remove the lid and add 1/2 cup sour cream.
- Add additional water until you reach desired consistency. May not need any additional water.
- Stir and add 1 tsp parsley flakes on top parsley.
- Serve and ENJOY!
